AyÅŸenur Ä°slam

Ayşenur İslam ( born January 16, 1958 in Üsküdar, Istanbul) is a Turkish politician of the Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi.

Life

Islam studied at Ankara University and Gazi Üniversitesi at the Turkish literature. She possesses the degrees Doctor and Docent. As an author she wrote ten books and taught as a high school teacher at various universities in Turkey. In the parliamentary elections in Turkey in 2011 she succeeded for the first time as a Member of the catchment in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Since December 25, 2013 is the successor of Fatma Şahin, Minister of Family Affairs of Turkey. She is married and has one child.
