Ayu

The language Ayu (also called aya, ISO 639-3: ayu ) is a highly endangered platoide language from the language group of the Plateau languages ​​that are spoken by a total of 800 people from the ethnic group of Ayu in the Nigerian state of Kaduna.

Ayu is still spoken in the villages Kongon, Gwade, Tayu, Arau, Full, ikwa, Agamati, Anka Ambel and Amantu. Many today use now to English as a native language, some can also use the Hausa as a second language.
