Azerbaijan women's national football team

The Azerbaijani national football team of women representing the state of Azerbaijan in international women's football. The national team is subordinated to the Azerbaijan Football Federation.

To date, the team could not qualify for international tournament. She took first time in 2009 in a European Championship qualifier and 2009/10 participated in the World Cup qualifiers for 2011. They finished second in the group stage with 60 goals against the last place. Belgium, Sweden and Wales were able to achieve their highest against Azerbaijan National team wins 11-0, 17:0 or 15:0.

In December 2009 the team reached 58th place with the best finish in the FIFA World Cup ranking; currently it ranks 70th

For the European Championship in 2013, the team has not been reported. On the website of the Association only one U- 17 Women's team who their coach is the former German international Sissy Raith. (As of March 18, 2011 )
