Azophi (crater)

Azophi is an impact crater on the Moon's front west of the Mare Nectaris, southeast of the crater Abenezra, touched the edge Azophi, and northwest of Sacrobosco. The rim is moderately eroded the crater floor largely flat.

The crater was in 1935 by the IAU by the Persian astronomer Abd al-Rahman al- Sufi ( Latinized Azophi ) > officially named.
