Sacrobosco (crater)

Sacrobosco is an impact crater on the Moon's front west of the Mare Nectaris, southeast of the crater Azophi and südwelich of Fermat. The crater is heavily eroded and poorly identify the crater wall. Inside there are several secondary craters.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the English mathematician and astronomer Johannes de Sacrobosco.
