B-Movie (Band)

B- Movie was a British band from Mansfield, who was in the years 1979 to 1985. The band's roots lay in the post-punk and New Wave, and later her style developed further in the direction of synthpop. Its members were Steve Hovington (vocals), Paul Statham (guitar), Graham Boffey (drums) and Rick Holliday (keyboards). Among its more significant singles included Remembrance Day and Nowhere Girl. Especially the song " Nowhere Girl " was developed in the 80s and 90s to become a classic in German discos. The band performed again in March 2006 at The Metro Club in London. On 18 September 2010, the band had their first gig in Plauen in Germany. Since 2012, the band is back with new material on tour.
