Babia Góra

Babia Góra ( Polish) or Babia hora ( Slovak), German Devil's Peak, literally Witch Mountain, Upper Silesia Babjo Gura, is a mountain on the Polish- Slovak border in the Beskids. N.p.m. With a height of 1725 m it is the highest mountain of Beskydy. The summit is located on the territory of Poland.

Location

On the Slovak side of the mountain is the protected landscape area Horna Orava, on the Polish side of the National Park Babia Gora. Over the hill runs the European watershed between the Black Sea ( Danube ) and the Baltic Sea ( Vistula ).
