In the south of the town, the railway station is on the railway line Bataszek Baja Kiskunhalas.
History
After the Turkish wars in the early 18th century, the largely depopulated areas of the Danube Swabians was repopulated. Until the expulsion after the Second World War they formed the bulk of the population. Then here expelled from Czechoslovakia Hungary were settled. Today, about 97 % of the population of Hungary, 2% German, and 1% are Other.
