The Bad Sobernheim station is a through station at kilometer 38,44 the Middle Valley Railway Bingen -Saarbrücken in the south of the same town in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland- Palatinate.

Infrastructure

The heritage protection station building was built in the early period of the Middle Valley Railway during the second half of the 19th century. It consists of a running as Sandsteinquaderbau two-storey main building of eight axes, flanked by single-storey wings to three axes. The final hipped roofs are slated.

From 2006 to 2007 the station was rebuilt and now has two 160 meter long platforms on three tracks, elevators and an underpass. The station environment is still to be redesigned. In 2012, work began on expanding the park - and-ride location. The railway station lying at the Near bike path also has a bike - and-ride space.

Traffic

From Monday to Sunday carried an hourly service by regional express and regional trains. Every two hours, there is a direct connection from and to Frankfurt am Main. At the station there are connections to the bus of the Rhein -Nahe - transport network ( RNN); in the local transport plan of the district of Bad Kreuznach an expansion is planned at a system node.
