Baden Football Association

The Badische Football Association ( BFV ) is the umbrella organization for all 613 football clubs in North Baden with 205 016 members and 4,822 teams. It was founded in June 1946 and is one of 21 regional associations of the DFB.

Seat of the BFV is since 1953 the sports school Schoeneck in Karlsruhe. It was created in the wake of the rise of football in the post-war years and was completed in 1953 and inaugurated on Durlacher Turmberg. One of the priorities of the BFV or the sports school was in the early days in the training of trainers and youth workers for the many newly formed football clubs, now exceeds the use of the extensive facilities developed by other sports. In addition to three football fields, there are three gymnasiums, an indoor swimming pool, two tennis courts, two beach volleyball courts, a wrestler and judo room and other facilities. For foreign guests Schoeneck provides 172 beds available.

At the head of the Association is currently Ronny Zimmermann as president.

The association area is divided into nine districts ( Tauberbischofsheim, Buchen (Odenwald), Mosbach, Sinsheim, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Germany, Bruchsal, Karlsruhe and Pforzheim ).

The Badische Football Association won the Country Cup DFB, also known as amateur Countries Cup, in 1967, 1969, 1972, 1973, 1996. The U15 Junior team won the 2013 Cup countries.

The highest organized by the Association Game class is the fifth division Baden.
