Bafing (Ivory Coast)
Bafing was from 2000 to 2011 an administrative region in the Ivory Coast capital Touba.
Population
One estimate from 2007, according to about 203 608 inhabitants has Bafing and thus in an area of 8720 km ², a population density of 23 inhabitants per km ². At the last census in the year 1988 109.155 inhabitants were counted.
Geography
Bafing is located in the west of Ivory Coast, bordered to the north by Denguelé, to the east and to the south by Worodougou Dix- Huit Montagnes; to the west lies Guinea. The region consists solely of the Département de Touba.
