Bagrat III of Georgia

Bagrat III. (* 963, † 1014) was 978-1014 King of Abkhazia and from 1008 to 1014 King of the united Georgia. He is the son Gurgens of Kartli and Abkhaz king's daughter Guranducht.

Life

After Bagrat from 978 King of Abkhazia was, he inherited final after his father's death Gurgen Kartli and called himself since King of Kings, which was the official title of the reigning Georgian King until the end of the 15th century.
