Bahador Molaei

Bahador Moulaei ( born March 21, 1992) is an Iranian weightlifter. He was world champion in 2013 put and vice-world champion in single combat.

Career

Bahador Moulaei from Babul Sar, Mazandaran, began as a child with the weight lifting. He is a student at the Islamic Azad University in Ghaemshahr.

Over the years he has developed into a world-class weightlifter in the super heavyweight division. His first international championship he denied the age of seventeen in 2009, when he participated in the World Youth Championship (U 18). He weighed 108.37 kg at that time already, scored in a duel 345 kg ( 155-190 ) and thus won ahead of his compatriot Gholamreza Asghaschah. In the same year he started even at the Junior World Championship U-20 age group in Bucharest at heavyweight. After 150 kg in the snatch him there, however, underwent three failed attempts at pushing, so that he remained unplaced.

At the Junior World Championship 2010 (U 20) in Sofia is Bahador Moulaei increased in the super heavyweight to 369 kg ( 161-208 ) and thus finished 5th. In 2011 he has also been used in the Asian Championship of seniors in Tongling / China super heavyweight. He scored there in a duel 398 kg ( 176-222 ). He finished in behind World Champion Behdad Salimikordasiabi, Iran, 458 kg ( 208-250 ) achieved, the 2nd place. In June 2011 he was again in Penang Junior World Champion (U 20). He came in a duel for the first time more than 400 kg in the total. He scored 408 kg ( 177-231 ), and referred his compatriot Alireza Kazeminejad, the 386 kg ( 169-217 ) to 2nd place.

2012 was Bahador Moulaei at the Junior World Championship (U 20) in Antigua, although he to 417 kg ( 185-232 ) vies rose, beaten by Magomed Abujew from Russia, scored 426 kg ( 191-235 ).

The year 2013 began for him also unhappy, because he he did at the Asian Championship in Astana in June 2013 after 186 kg in the snatch again three failed attempts in pushing with 232 and 233 kg, and remained so again without a single combat power. But just a month later, he was able to fully rehabilitate at the Universiade in Kazan. He managed there excellent in a duel 450 kg ( 196-254 ), where especially his performance in pushing of 254 kg was fantastic. He delivered in Astana the big favorites Ruslan Albegow, the 459 kg ( 205-254 ) was a great fight. The duel between Bahador Moulaei and Ruslan Albegow then went on at the World Championships in Wroclaw in October 2013. Bahador Moulaei was used by the Iranian Weightlifting Federation at this championship, although he was only the third best Iranian weightlifter in the super heavyweight division after the multiple world champion and Olympic champion Behdad Salimikordasiabi and the Olympic silver medalist Sajjad Anoushiravani until then. These two lifters were not used because of differences with the weightlifting federation.

Bahador Moulaei justified the confidence placed in him fully. He was in Wrocław in great shape and made in the snatch a personal best of 203 kg. In thrusting he put in the second trial before 255 kg and thus brought the big favorites Ruslan Albegow in strong pressure to act. Albegow needed two attempts to beat this weight. In his third and final impact test Bahador Moulaei then missed 261 kg extremely scarce and therefore came up behind Albegow, who scored 464 kg ( 209-255 ), on the 2nd place.
