Bahía Kino

Bahía de Kino is a town in the Mexican state of Sonora.

It is located 107 km from Hermosillo removed in the municipality of Hermosillo and has one of the most attractive beaches in the state. Bahía de Kino located 28 kilometers off the Isla Tiburón, which was discovered on December 24, 1539 by Captain Francisco de Ulloa.

History

The town was probably named after the missionary Eusebio Francisco Kino, who visited the area in the 17th century.
