Bajaur Agency

Bajaur is a Pakistani tribal area Federally, bordering the Afghan province of Kunar. Bajaur is the northernmost tribal area and has an area of 1,290 km ². 1998 595 227 inhabitants living there. The largest town in Bajaur Khar is.

History

The discovery of the signet ring of a certain Theo Damas, an Indo- Greeks, who lived in the first century after Christ, shows that the area was inhabited by Bajaur already in ancient times.
