The Bachtegansee (Persian دریاچه بختگان Daryātsche -ye Bachtegān ) is a salt lake in the province of Fars in southern Iran. It is located about 160 kilometers east of Shiraz and 15 km west of the city Neyriz.

The Bachtegansee is with a size of 350,000 hectares, the second largest lake in Iran. The most important tributary is the Cor. Numerous dams on the river Kor led to a marked decrease of the inflow into the lake. As a result, the salinity of the lake has increased.
