Bálint Bajner

Bálint Marcel Bajner ( born November 18, 1990 in Szombathely ) is a Hungarian football player who is predominantly used as a center forward.

Career

Clubs

Bajner began playing football in his hometown in the youth of Haladás Szombathely, before he moved to the youth of the FC Sopron in the summer of 2005. There he made by strong performances in the youth teams attracted attention and was considered a great talent.

From the summer of 2006, he was part of the squad for the first team that played in the Nemzeti National Championship. There Bajner however, was initially not considered. It was not until the beginning of April 2007, he was the first time in the squad. On May 26, 2007, being the 30th and final day of the season 2006/ 07, Bajner at the age of sixteen years, 6 months and 8 days came to his debut in professional football, as he in the away game against Debreceni Vasutas SC (1:2) came on in the 68th minute for Róbert Feczesin.

For the season 2007/ 08 he moved to the Romanian second division and promoted Liberty Salonta.

After one season he was loaned for one year to the reserve team of the English first division side West Ham United, which also secured a purchase option. He scored eight goals in sixteen games. Nevertheless, the club waived the option to purchase and Bajner returned in July 2009 back to Romania.

End of August 2009, he was again awarded for one year in his home for capital club Honvéd Budapest. There he came in both the first and second team to use. After the 2008/ 09 season he was firmly committed Honvéd Budapest. There, however, he could be in the next season not prevail and his expiring contract was not renewed.

In summer 2011 Bajner moved abroad again. After he completed a first unsuccessful trial with German second division club Hansa Rostock, he signed a contract with the Italian sixth division ASD Sulmona Calcio. There, he scored eleven goals in eighteen games.

For the 2012/13 season Bajner returned to Hungary to the first division Bodajk FC Siófok. There he released his contract but again in early September 2012, to have completed without a game.

End of September 2012 was Bajner of the second team of German champions and cup winners Borussia Dortmund, who plays in the 3rd Liga, committed, where he had previously completed a trial. He signed a contract until the end of the season 2012/13. After he had achieved in the first eight games for BVB II four goals, his contract was extended early in December 2012 at a year until the end of June 2014. In January 2013 he was allowed to join in the preparations for the second half of 2012/13 in the first team training camp in La Manga del Mar Menor, Spain. On February 24, 2013 he played his first Bundesliga match against Borussia Moenchengladbach as he was substituted after 71 minutes for Moritz Leitner. Bajner already scored a goal in a friendly against the Spanish third division side Albacete, and one in the game " All against BVB " ( Sat1 ).

National

Bajner has played for the U- 19 of the Hungarian Football Federation. He was first nominated in the summer of 2008 and took part in the U-19 U-19 Football Championship in the Czech Republic. His debut for the U- 19, he was on 17 July 2008 during the second round match against the U -19 Spain ( 1-0). With the team he reached the semifinals, where to but with 0:1 failed to Italy. In total he played from 2008 to 2009 eight games for the U- 19, in which he scored three goals. This he achieved all within sixteen minutes in the home game against San Marino ( 6-0 ) in October 2008.
