Balsa Nova

Balsa Nova (literally: New ferry ) is a small town with a good population of 10,000 in the Brazilian state of Paraná, about 10 km west of Araucaria, a suburb of Curitiba, the capital of the state.

The town lies on its a few hundred kilometers upstream lying waterfalls Iguassu.
