Baltimore City Hall

The Baltimore City Hall is the city hall of Baltimore in Maryland. In the 1867 to 1875 in the Second Empire style built building, located in downtown Baltimore, both the mayor and the City Council have their headquarters

The central section of the four-storey building closes on the front facade off with a simple pediment, is behind surmounted by a dome and has two wings. The exterior walls are covered with marble. The basement is elevated and built as rustication. Architect of Baltimore City Hall was the German American George A. Frederick. The wrought iron work on the staircase and cupola was made to Wendel Bollman. The Baltimore City Hall is listed since 8 May 1973 at the National Register of Historic Places.
