Bamberg Magical Dynasty

Bamberg was an international magician family originally of Dutch origin.

Known family members were:

  • Eliaser Bamberg (1760-1833) David Leendert Bamberg (1786-1869) Tobias Bamberg (1812-1870) David Tobias Bamberg (1843-1914) Theo Bamberg ( Okito; 1875-1963 ) David Bamberg (Fu Manchu; 1904-1974 )

Six family members ( Eliaser, David Leendert, Tobias, David Tobias, and David Theo Bamberg) from successive generations have been inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Society of American Magicians.

Eliasers father Jasper Bamberg was an alchemist and necromancer of the 18th century, who began the tradition to have become the magician the respective first son.
