Bamburi

Bamburi is the Kisauni Division of Mombasa County, Kenya, about 10 kilometers northeast of Mombasa. Bamburi is a tourist area, where many hotel resorts along the coast of the Indian Ocean located.

Haller- Park

1971, the Swiss René Haller was commissioned to redesign the disused part of the cement and quarry complex by afforestation to Haller Park nature reserve. The 11- km ² area is home to numerous comprehensive wildlife and until 2007 was home to the famous attraction Owen and Mzee - an unusual friendship between a hippo and a 130 year old giant tortoise.

In Bamburi Bamburi Cement is among other things, the East African subsidiary of Lafarge SA.

Traffic

Bamburi can be achieved by bus or matatu from Mombasa Mtwapa and Malindi direction.

In Bamburi there is also an airfield, which is used primarily for Safari flights.
