History
The house was used around 1910 by Bamma Vickers Lawson as a library. According to tradition it was the first ( unofficial ) library in the area. The presentation of the books was from the bookshelves in the house out to local facilities in the area. The trademark was the presentation of cakes and lemonade for the readers. In the following years, the idea of the libraries developed more and more. With the opening of the North Indian River County Library in November 1990, a fully equipped library was created.
