Bananas in Pyjamas

Bananas in Pyjamas is a rotated for children puppet film series from Australia.

In Australia, the series airs on the ABC network since 1992. This year, it was also produced. For the first time in 1996 and 1997, the program was broadcast in Germany on the ZDF.

Plot and the characters

The series is about two friendly giants bananas in blue and white striped pajamas who like to have fun together and always have one thing in mind: Every Tuesday three innocent teddy bears named Amy, Lulu and Morgan to hunt. Otherwise, they would like to visit her boyfriend Rätti, a rat with kepi, which has a general store and plays a role somewhat deceitful. All together they live happily together and in the so-called Knuffelallee.

The two bananas who play the lead roles, are called short B1 and B2. They are not particularly smart, but always seem to develop good ideas and be very creative. The traditional saying of the show is the sentence: " Are you thinking what I'm thinking B1? " Then B1 then responds: " I think so, B2! " Then they both call in chorus: "Now is celebrated! "
