Bancroft (crater)

Bancroft is a small, round and bowl-shaped impact crater southwest of the crater Archimedes at Mare Imbrium.
From the edge of Bancroft from a broad, shallow depression runs in a southeasterly direction to the Archimedes Mountains. In the southwest and west of the crater, the banks of the moon sea on some cracks.
Marriage ' Bancroft ' got its own name in 1976 by the IAU, as he was ' Archimedes A' known.
