Baneh

Baneh (Kurdish Bane, Persian بانه ) is a city in the northwestern Iranian province Kordestān. It is also the name of the district ( Scharestān ) Baneh, which consists of a city and seven rural districts. The county is 794 km ². The city is surrounded by forests and Baneh of Sanandaj is 260 km from the Iraqi border and only 21 km away.
