Bank of America Tower (Jacksonville)

The Bank of America Tower is a 188 meter tall skyscraper in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. He was the seat of Barnett Bank and was originally called Barnett Tower, but the name of the bank and the building were amended in 1997, because the Barnett Group was acquired by NationsBank, which in turn merged with Bank of America.

Upon completion in 1990, the building was the tallest in Jacksonville, but at the same time also the tallest building between Atlanta and Miami. The 42 -story building was designed by the German -American architect Helmut Jahn, and consists mainly of reinforced concrete and glass.
