Bankcard-Servicenetz

The bank card service network (own spelling Bankcard Service Network) is an association of most of the German cooperative banks, which allows its customers to withdraw cash free of charge with their debit card at any ATM of the member banks in general. The corresponding merger to Bank -border use of the statement printer is called Bankcard Account Info.

The bank card service network covers about 19,200 ATMs, making it the second largest network, just behind that of the savings banks with about 25,700 machines.

It consists of virtually all people and Raiffeisen banks and other federated in the Federal Association of German Cooperative Banks banks. The only exception is the Sylt eG (Updated: February 1, 2013).

Some banks are double members in the bank card service network and in the cash pool, with these for our own customers often apply restrictions on the use of machines of bank card service network, for instance with regard to the amount of free orders. However, the Sylt eG is currently not incorporated in the cash pool.

Settlement between the banks

The participating bank card service network banks charge each other for cash withdrawals by customers of the other bank card operator charges a reduced rate of max. 2.05 EUR, but usually 1.02 EUR. The card issuing bank carries up to 1.02 EUR this fee so that the available yet for the customer is usually free of charge. Problems for small banks and banks with scattered clientele

The following banks are both a member of the cash pool as well as in bank card service network. Restrictions on their customers in the use of bank card service network automata are also listed, if known:

Former members double cash pool & Bankcard Service Network

  • PSD banks All PSD banks provide at least four free cash withdrawals at Bank Card ATM per month, or a corresponding number per quarter, at. The only exception is the PSD Bank Hannover, which does not offer checking accounts. About half of the PSD Banks offers five or even an unlimited number of cash withdrawals at bank card ATM. If the number of free items exhausted, then drop the own cost of the bank in the amount of EUR 1.02 per disposal.
