Baptista Lake titi

The Baptistasee Titi ( Callicebus baptista ) is a primate of the species of titi monkeys within the family of Sakiaffen ( Pitheciidae ). The species is named after the site of the first copy.

Features

Baptistasee - titi monkeys are like all titi monkeys relatively small primates with fluffy fur. The back, the top of the head and the outer sides of the limbs are gray or black gray, the belly and the inside of limbs bright red. The long, bushy tail is longer than the body, it is colored black gray and can not be used as a prehensile tail like all titi monkeys. Are similar beard, reddish hair on the cheeks and the throat.

Distribution and habitat

Way of life
