Barbara Allen Rainey

Barbara Allen Rainey ( born August 20, 1948 in Bethesda, Maryland, † July 13, 1982 in Evergreen, Alabama) was appointed on 22 February 1974 on the first U.S. Navy pilot. She died in an accident during a training flight on the Middleton Field Airport in Evergreen (Alabama ) along with their flight student.

She was married to John C. Rainey and had two daughters.
