Barbara Brown (figure skater)

Barbara Marie Brown ( born July 21, 1953 in Denver, Colorado) is a former American figure skater.

With her partner Doug Berndt Brown in 1970 to win the title at junior level at the U.S. Championships. In the two following years they were each third party with the seniors. In two years, she also participated in the World Figure Skating Championships and took positions 11 and 14 at the Olympic Winter Games 1972 in Sapporo Brown and Berndt reached the 12th place.

Between 1972 and 1977, Brown participated in the ice show Holiday on Ice.

After the end of their active careers Brown works as a trainer, including for Sasha Cohen, who won the Olympic silver medal in 2006.
