Barbara Matera

Barbara Matera ( born December 9, 1981 in Foggia) is an Italian television presenter and politician.

Life

Barbara Matera took over between 2003 and 2007 the post of program officer for Rai Uno. In addition, she appeared in several TV series and participated in the Miss Italia.

In 2009 she went to in the European election for the Italian party Popolo della Libertà, reaching a seat in the European Parliament. It was set as default by the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi on the list. In parliament she is a member of the Budget Committee and the Delegation to the EU - Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee.
