Barbie in A Mermaid Tale

Barbie and the secret of Oceana ( Original: Barbie in a Mermaid Tale ) is an American film directed by Adam L. Wood, which appeared in 2010. It is another part of computer animated films to Barbie.

Action

The surfer Merliah lives with her grandfather on the beach in Malibu. When during a surf contest her hair suddenly turns pink and she jumps so the surfboard, she realizes that she can breathe and talk underwater. The dolphin Zuma tells her that her mother was a mermaid, and also the queen of Oceana, the mermaid kingdom is. Her mother and so that the Kingdom is in great danger and only Merliah can both save by her evil aunt Eris, purporting to be the queen defeated.

Production and publication

The film was produced in 2010 by Mattel Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment, directed by Adam L. Wood. The screenplay was written by Elise Allen and the music is by BC Smith. For the average Jordan Hemsley was responsible.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment released the film on March 9, 2010 under the title Barbie in a Mermaid Tale in the U.S. on DVD. Universal brought the DVD including in Germany out.

Synchronization

The German dubbed version produced at the dubbing studio SDI Media. The German dialogues were made by Nana Spier and recorded under her direction.
