Barbie in the Nutcracker

Barbie in The Nutcracker ( Original: Barbie in the Nutcracker ) is a film directed by Owen Hurley, who appeared in 2001. He is the first of so far 22 computer-animated films of Barbie. The plot is based on the story Nutcracker and the Mouse King by ETA Hoffmann.

Action

At midnight Clara wakes nutcracker which she got from her aunt to live. The Mouse King and his army storm around the same time Clara's home. As Clara tries to protect her nutcracker before the Mouse King, she is shrunk by the scepter.

Clara and the Nutcracker manage to drive out the mice. However, Clara is now small. The Nutcracker tells that he was none before. An owl advises the two to visit the Sugar Plum Fairy.
