Barcelona (indie rock band)

Barcelona is an indie rock trio from Seattle, Washington, consisting of Brian Fennell, Chris Bristol and Rhett Stonelake.

History

After its formation in 2005, the band signed a promotional contract with 2007 MySpace Records and MySpace.com. Absolute, the first joint studio album the group released in September 2007 on the independent label NBD Music. The board received mostly positive reviews.

In 2008, the band signed a record deal with Universal Motown. The label released Absolute in April 2009 for a second time - but without much commercial success. The song Please Do not Go 2011 finally appeared on the soundtrack to Francis Lawrence's Water for Elephants ( 2011). In the same year, the German rapper Casper has sampled the song " Please Do not Go " and published under the name " Control / Sleep " on his album " XOXO ".
