Barceloneta (Barcelona Metro)

Barceloneta is an underground station of the Barcelona Metro. It is located in the Ciutat Vella district. The station is served by the metro line 4. There is transit traffic to 12 bus to the aboveground station. Moreover, there is at about 500 meters from the train station Barcelona França connecting flight to the line R2 Sud Rodalies Barcelona. It is named after the eponymous district of La Barceloneta.

The station was taken in 1976 during the opening of the eastern extension of Line 4 in operation. This was then extended by the Jaume I station until after Barceloneta.
