Barguzin Range

The Bargusingebirge (Russian Баргузинский хребет / Bargusinski Chrebet ) is a high-rise to 2840 m high mountain in Buryatia, Russia ( Asia).

The north-south direction, approximately 280 km long mountain range stretches east of Lake Baikal. To the west it borders the lake and on the east by the Bargusin Valley, through which the eponymous river Bargusin flows. In the northeast the Bargusingebirge gradually changes into the Stanowoihochland.

The mountains, in the western part is a major part of the Bargusin Nature Reserve is mainly covered by taiga.
