Barmer Spitze

Barmer peak with summit cross seen from Fenneregg

The Barmen lace, also Barmer peak (3200 m above sea level. A. ), is a peak in the Rieserfernergruppe and is located on the Austrian- Italian border between East and South Tyrol.

Location

The peak with summit cross is located near the northeast of the Hochgall and is separated by the Krügergrat from him. It was named after the section Barmen, which operates the near Barmer Hütte. Other peaks in the immediate vicinity are the splasher tip and the tip of ear, of which the Barmer tip by the splasher Törl or the Riepe saddle is disconnected.

Increase opportunities

The normal route leads from the hut the Barmer Barmer downhill to the old hut and then relatively flat as the turning to splasher Törl. Here the trail branches off to the southwest and crosses the Rampleterkees for splasher Törl and then continue to the top of Barmer. The ascent of the summit was not considered very difficult; after, however, had occurred a fatal accident in July 2008 below the summit, the via ferrata on the Barmer tip was locked.

The Barmen lace is often committed in the winter. Here there is the possibility of the rise Bachertal in South Tyrol via the Ursprungsbachtal and the steering stone addition.
