Baron Hampton

Baron Hampton, of Hampton Lovett and of Westwood in the County of Worcester, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, which is run by the family Pakington.

Award

The title was for John Somerset Pakington, 1st Baronet, created in 1874. This was a conservative politician who was several times in the second half of the 19th century minister in Conservative governments. Specific activities focused on the military ministries ( War and Navy Ministry ).

The first Baron was in 1846 raised to the baronet. This title, which belongs to the Baronetage of the United Kingdom, are currently suspended because of the current Baron has not yet been formally proven that the succession.
