Baron Hawke

Baron Hawke, of Towton in the County of York, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of Great Britain, which is run by the family Hawke.

Award

The title was created in 1776 for the famous Admiral Sir Edward Hawke. This had defeated the French fleet in several battles and was for many years First Lord of the Admiralty.
