Barry Siegel

Barry Siegel ( born September 7, 1949 in St. Louis ) is a former national correspondent for the Los Angeles Times.

He received the Pulitzer Prize for special writing in 2002 for his play A Father 's Pain, a Judge's Duty, and a Justice Beyond Their Reach. He is a specialist in literary journalism and was hired by the University of California to preside over a new English program in literary journalism. Siegel lived in Thousand Oaks and Irvine, California.
