Barry Stokes (actor)

Barry Stokes ( born 1944 ) is a British actor.

He made his debut in 1964 in the series Crossroads. In TV, among others popular as Jim Haines in the series Moonbase Alpha 1, it was established in 1973 on the side of Jean Seberg in Juan Antonio Bardems drama La corrupción de Chris Miller ( mask of horror ) also known as a film actor. In 1975 the title role as Bob in the comedy The Ups and Downs of a Handyman by John Sealey, 1978, the main role of the other in the horror film Prey and 1979 of Oliver in Norman J. Warren's Outer Touch. Jacques Demy was Barry Stokes 1979, the male lead role of André Grandier in Lady Oscar, the movie version of the Japanese manga. The German director Gabi Kubach hired him a year later for the role of Frank Davies at the side of Claude Jade in Vicky tree adaptation Rendezvous in Paris. On German television, he also gained popularity with the role of the cooking in the miniseries The Last Days of Pompeii (1984). His last movie appearance was in 1985, the supporting role of Huck in Wolfgang Petersen's Enemy Mine.
