Life

Bartolomé Castagnola began to seriously play polo when he took lessons with 14 years in the La Martina Polo School and Adolfo Cambiaso there met. In 1988 he began to play abroad and won the San Diego Open, along with Marcelo Caset. Since then he has the Sotogrande Gold Cup, the U.S. Open, the USPA Gold Cup, the Queens Cup and won the Hurlingham Open, in addition to countless other tournaments.

Until 2007 he held 14 times a Campeonato Argentino Abierto de Polo in part, won six times and reached the finals three more times.

He played for teams like La Martina, Ellerstina, Outback and Dubai and can be seen at shows in Argentina, Spain, Dubai, England and Australia. Together with Adolfo Cambiaso, he founded the La Dolfina Polo Team.

Castagnola is with Camila Cambiaso, sister of Adolfo, married and has three sons ( Bartolito, Camilo, Benicio ). Besides being a polo player, he also breeds horses.
