Basarab II of Wallachia

Basarab II ( † about 1458 ), son of Dan II, was Prince of Wallachia from 1442 to 1443.

After the Ottoman victory over part of Transylvania in 1442 Basarab II, was appointed by John Hunyadi, the prince of Wallachia. With the help of the Ottomans was Basarab II in 1443 but again dethroned by Vlad Dracul II.
