Basellandschaftliche Zeitung

Basellandschaftliche newspaper (bz ), headquartered in Liestal, according to the Basler Zeitung, the second largest daily newspaper in the Basel region. The circulation is 23'635 copies sold ( WEMF 2013).

History

Precursor

As a precursor of bz is considered " The intrepid Rauracher ". The subtitle of this newspaper described as " a Swiss, truth -loving Journal of Religion, reasonable people right and Enlightenment." The establishment falls within the period of the Basel Canton separation. This civil war was also a paper war, which was first fought mainly with leaflets. That changed in January 1831 in Basel for the first time appeared the " Baseler Zeitung". Development in the 20th century
