The transfer of a BISS encrypted channel by means of a twelve hexadecimal digits wide session key that is negotiated between the TV station and the receiver in advance. BISS is used among other things for the feed by earthTV, which is used among others by the German news channel N24. Many other feeds, especially for pay-TV, use BISS.
