Basketball League Belgium

The Ethias League is the top division in basketball club of gentlemen in Belgium. The first Belgian basketball league is named after its main sponsor, the Belgian insurance group Ethias. The highest league is currently a closed league without and losers and was last reduced by the withdrawal of licenses of teams like Euphony Bree in 2008 and the withdrawal of Ghent Dragons 2012 from ten participating teams to eight. Mode

International Competitions

The Belgian league is since 1999 a member of the Union of Ligues Européennes de Basketball ( ULEB ).
