Batavia is a village in Clermont County, Ohio, United States, about 30 km east of Cincinnati. Batavia is the seat of the administration of the County Clermont. The place has a good 1,600 inhabitants (as of the census of 2000).

In Batavia is the campus of UC Clermont College founded in 1972, is part of the system of the University of Cincinnati. In Batavia was opened in 1980, the Batavia Transmission Plant, a Ford plant for the production of vehicle transmissions. After the work was transferred to a joint venture with ZF 1999, the factory was closed in 2008.
