The airfield Batlava - Donja Penduha (Albanian Aeroporti i Batllavës, Serbian Аеродром Батлава - Доња Пендуха / Aerodrome Batlava - Donja Penduha ) is located approximately eight kilometers south of Podujevo in Kosovo. The name Batlava comes from a nearby village.
History
The airfield Batlava was the first regularly -used airfield in Kosovo. He was approached in 1936 by Aeroput as a stopover on the route from Belgrade to Skopje. Later it was used by the Yugoslav military. During the Kosovo war in 1999, he was bombed and damaged by NATO.
