Battery
The word battery stands for various terms, where the combination of several, mostly the same objects is based mostly:
- Battery ( electrical engineering), the interconnection of several galvanic cells, colloquially individual for such a cell
- Starter battery, also colloquially car battery, a specially assigned for the starter motor vehicles interconnection of several secondary cells
- Traction battery, specifically intended for driving in electric vehicles interconnection of accumulators cells
- Capacitor bank, the electrical connection of several capacitors
- Atom battery, see radionuclide
- Battery, the French term for a set of drums in old sheet sets
- Battery ( military ), an Artillery or Army air defense unit and fortified positions of the Fortress, coastal and naval artillery
- Battery ( chess ), a combination of several figures along a particular line of action, especially for a discovered check
- Part of a stone castle
- Battery storage plant, a type of storage power plant
- Fireworks battery even Cakebox, the composite of several launch tubes
- Battery hens, a form of keeping chickens, see poultry production
- MIXER, a combination of several valves for mixing of liquids and gases
