Battle Beast (band)

Battle Beast is Finnish heavy metal band from Helsinki, which was founded in 2008 in Helsinki. 2010 the band won the Metal Battle contest to be held since 2004 Newcomer contest of the Wacken Open Air The musical style of the band is inspired by the music of the 1980s. The band also won a contest at Radio Rock, a Finnish radio station. They entered 2012 as the support for the Nightwish tour of Europe and Russia tour to Imaginaerum on.

Signed end of 2011, Battle Beast a contract with Nuclear Blast Their debut album "Steel " was released in 2011 via Hype Records in Finland. On 27 January 2012, the album was released via Nuclear Blast.

Musical influences are WASP, Manowar, Judas Priest, UDO and Iron Maiden

Band History

Juuso, Pyry and Anton have already made teenage music together. In spring 2008, Nitte Valo joined the band and the first demo songs have already been recorded. After several changes of bassist and keyboardist also Eero Sipilä and Janne Björk Roth joined the band. After the Wacken Metal Battle won in 2010, they signed in the fall of 2010, her first recording contract with the Finnish label Hype Records.

In August 2012, vocalist Nitte Valo was dropped out of the band known to focus more on her family life. As the successor Noora Louhimo was committed.
